Brent Ruple, along with his wife April, joined the Caudle family as full-time staff in 2012. They have been married since 2004 and have 2 children: Jack and Grace. Brent grew up in Vilonia, Arkansas and graduated college from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in Landscape Architecture.
Brent is a product of the Caudle experience and attributes much of his maturity in Christ to his time spent here. Having transitioned from a camper, to counselor, to a Session Director and now full time camp Director he understands the camp process and has a great love for the camp.
Camp Caudle has been truly blessed to have Brent and his family here. It would be impossible to miss the effect he has had on the campus alone. His background in design can be seen in the many beautiful improvements to the camp ground.
Most recently, the completion of the Don and Margaret Helms Welcome Center (seen at the top) has garnered a lot of postitive attention toward Brent's handiwork. This beautiful 2400 square foot facility will serve as much needed administrative offices, canteen, camp store, and check-in space.
Brent has a passion for discipleship and training the generation below him. This passion blends well with Camp's leadership development program that he oversees as well as the summer staff program. He also really enjoys fishing. Each year Brent organizes Camp's free fishing derby which is always great fun for the public and has our pond stocked and ready for campers the following weeks.
We would be remiss if in this spotlight on Brent we didn't mention April's impact on camp as well. With a background in Graphic Design it is likely that if you've held a camp pamphlet, rack card, brochure, worn a good looking camp t-shirt, or seen a sign at camp you have seen April's design skill. She has also organized our annual women's retreat for the past three years and continues to be a great asset throughout the year during summer camp.
Camp Caudle continues to be blessed by the Ruple family. If you get a chance, tell them how much you appreciate their work here.
